Today is the last day of our 6 week summer session and wow! I am feeling nothing but GRATITUDE. When we closed our doors back in March and then moved to an all-virtual platform, I had no idea when (or if) we would be able to reopen. Of course, when we were able to reopen in July, there was an entirely new “normal” in the way that the studio operated.
Here we are 6 weeks later and the only reason this summer session was such a success was due to the VILLAGE that came together to make it happen. So, thanks are in order.
Thank you, Parents (& Grandparents)
You all made sure your kids had all the right things including their appropriate class materials, ziplocks instead of dance bags, face masks, water bottles, hand sanitizer, everything! Plus, you still made sure they were in proper dress code, had their hair pulled back, etc. You dropped them off at the right time, and picked them up promptly. When students were scheduled for virtual classes, you made sure they were ready to go. You did all. the. things. and rarely missed a beat. You all continue to amaze me with all that you juggle. Thank you for your help this summer!
Thank you, Dancers
You all have shown so much resilience and even enthusiasm with adapting to the new studio protocols. We have been overjoyed to be back in the studio with you and to reconnect with you virtually. We are so proud of how much commitment you have shown this summer, and we know your hard work will continue to pay off. Thank you for your great work this summer and keep it up!
Thank you, Teachers & Staff
Your continued commitment to our students and dance families has been overwhelming to witness. Thank you for continuing to show up for students in the way that you have. I am so grateful for the time, energy and creativity that you consistently put into planning your classes and adapting to the new restrictions. You all are so appreciated! Also, a special shoutout goes to Ms. Lauryn who has done it all, from ensuring the studio is always clean to juggling the in-studio/ virtual schedule to checking temperatures and ensuring students are following guidelines. I can’t thank you all enough!
