As a small business owner myself, I'm hyper-aware of the tremendous pressure that's currently on small businesses along with the reality that if these businesses do not receive the support they need right now, they may not be open to return to once the COVID-19 crisis has ended. So I'm excited to share with you that we're beginning a new series in which each week, we'll be featuring a local small business that is owned by one of our awesome Momentum families. Our hope is that, as a dance community, we can come together to help support these local businesses in whatever way possible, whether that be by "following" on social media or placing an order for a product or service. Every little bit helps! Also, how cool will it be to know that your support is directly impacting a fellow Momentum family?!
So we're excited for our first small business shoutout, which goes to the Carrot Top Farm.
The Carrot Top Farm was established in 2011 and is located in Ruther Glen, Virginia, just outside of Richmond and is run by husband and wife, Kevin and Mary Langhorne McManus. This family's goal is to offer delicious products you can't easily find in Richmond and DC area markets.
Follow the links below to learn more about this wonderful family business. Be sure to follow them on all social pages, and check out their amazing products. Also, they'll be at the Ashland Farmers Market (which is a currently a drive thru/ pick up market- how cool?) this Saturday, April 11, so you can get your hands on some yummy locally-grown produce and other products.
